I love my Crocs! I love my very first pair of Crocs so much that until now I've refused to part with them. Translation....drop them in the dumpster. Both shoes are so worn they have holes in the bottom of them. I remember how distressed I was when I discovered I had holes in my soles.
Ever since having to retire them, I've kept them on a shelf, in a place of honor. But just now I discovered a site called SolesUnited.org. It's mission is to SHOE THE WORLD!
SolesUnited.org accepts your old, worn out Crocs and recycles them. Yep, they are ground up, recycled and made into new Crocs. Then they are given away to the poor of the world. Do you know that 1.2 billion people on this planet live in poverty? There are parents who are struggling to feed their kids let alone being able to provide them shoes.
Now through SolesUnited.org we can help put Crocs are people's feet who have never known the luxury of having protection for their feet.
These are the stores that will accept your donated Crocs: Younkers, Elder-Beerman, Boston Store, Carson-Pirie, Bon-Ton and P-Sues. You can go to the SolesUnited.org site, type in your zip code and you will be given the drop off point closest to you.
If per chance you are too far away from any of these stores than google: Crocs Recycling East (in Ohio) or Crocs Recyling West (in California). Write down the address and mail your Crocs in.
You can help shoe the world by donating your worn out Crocs. Do it today!
