A MAN WHO CARES ABOUT HIS WORKING WIFE'S FEET!

I was surfing the net looking for some interesting tidbits on Crocs Nursing Shoes when I came across a posting a loving husband wrote regarding his wife who is a nurse. Apparently they were soon to travel to Minniapolis for a weekend getaway and he was asking for information on where he could take his wife to get a good pair of nursing shoes. Apparently she had tossed the shoes she had been wearing when she came home that night with sore and bleeding feet.

There were a number of comments responding to this gentleman's question. The one that caught my eye said this, "I'm not in healthcare but I have friends who are and they and I absolutely LOVE crocs. They're butt ugly but lightweight and very VERY comfortable. Since they are a pvb type vinyl, blood and other liquids do not stick or stain. Give them a shot!"

If that isn't a rousing endorsement of Crocs Nursing Shoes than I don't know what is!

CROCS GRIPPING POWER

Today while reading some content on how to care for my Crocs I became fixated on the paragraph talking about Crocs gripping power. That when you buy a new pair of Crocs they have incredible gripping power not unlike a new set of tires with lots of tread.

The piece went on to say that eventually as Crocs wear out they lose their gripping power. The soles can become too smooth leaving you having to be concerned about slipping.

I started thinking about my very first pair of Crocs. (I've written about them before). I still have them. I'm so attached them that I can't even think of tossing them. I want you to know that I an NOT a person prone to sentimentality but I'm obviously sentimental about my first pair of Crocs.

I did have to give up wearing them however because the soles got worn so smooth that when I wasn't repeatedly slipping on a few drops of water, I was suffering from blisters on the bottom of my feet from the holes in my Crocs. I did think I could patch them with duct tape but alas no. My Crocs were worn so smooth that not even the duct tape would stick.

Do keep an eye on the gripping power of your Crocs. They can be a danger especially if you have children who love to live in their Crocs just like I do.
